YEREVAN. – The 2017 volume of ore shipments via the railway of Armenia will not be less than the indicators of last year.

South Caucasus Railway (SCR) CJSC Director General Sergey Valko told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Domestic and export shipments via the country’s railway increased in 2016.

“Sadly, a decrease in the imported flow is observed, primarily on the account of grain load,” noted the SCR chief. “As for the ore—whose shipments are both domestic and export, mining companies plan no lesser volumes than the 2016 level.”
