YEREVAN. – Overall 159 soldiers were wounded during the four-day war last April and the following days, head of medical department at the Armenian Armed Forces Kamavor Khchatryan told the media.

During this period exceeded all previous records, both in the number of transportation of the wounded and organization of treatment in hospitals, were exceeded.

“Our experts have done everything to save the lives of wounded,” he said, adding that  in one case the injured died on the way to the hospital.

As Kamavor Khachatryan said, after 10 months, nine servicemen are still undergoing treatment, two of them are in hospital and one in a private clinic, the rest in the rehabilitation center of the Red Cross.
