The Central Bank of Armenia has issued a summary of the transactions carried out during February 13-17. The transactions made in the foreign exchange market by the Armenian banks are as follows. 

The banks purchased $69,956,812 for AMD 485.82 per US dollar and sold $83,771,134 at an average exchange rate of AMD 487.37 per US dollar.

At the interbank market, the sale and purchase among the banks is estimated to be $ 6,700,000 out at a rate of AMD 487.04 per dollar. In the timeframe mentioned by NASDAQ OMX ARMENIA OJSC, there was initiated a purchase and sale of $ 400,000 at an average exchange rate of AMD 487.00 per US dollar.

At the interbank market the banks purchased EUR 7,259,692 at an average exchange rate of AMD 514.69 per euro and sold Euro 10,120,675 at an average exchange rate of AMD 518.69 per euro. At the specified period, there was no transaction in the interbank market between the banks and NASDAQ OMX Armenia. 

At the interbank market the banks purchased 797,936,693 rubles at an average exchange rate of AMD 8,39 per ruble and sold 487,200,778 rubles at an average exchange rate of 8,46 per ruble. No transactions took place among commercial banks in the interbank market.

On February 6-12, the amount of allocated fund by banks totaled 44.9 bln AMD, whereas the allocated funds in USD made $ 41.1 million.
