YEREVAN. - A march in memory of the victims of the tragic events of 1 March 2008 has kicked off from Yerevan's Liberty Square.

The event has been organized by the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the People's Party of Armenia (PPA).

The march participants are moving to Myasnikyan's monuments.  They are holding the republic's flags and a large banner with the requirement to reveal all the circumstances of the tragedy.

The policemen accompanying the march are holding carnations in their hands. ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is not taking part in the march.
