The US Secretary of Rex Tilerson begins his official tour to Asia, the aim of which is to discuss the actions directed towards the nuclear and missile threats coming from the DPRK, reports the Voice of America.

The tour starts in Japan, where he will meet with Prime Minister Shinzō Abe on Thursday and Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida. Tillerson will leave for South Korea on Friday for the negotiations with the acting President Yoon Hwan Ani and Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.

The last stop of Tillerson’s tour will be China, where the central point of the program will be the meeting with the Chinese leader Xi Jinping, within the framework of the preparation of the talks between the US President, to be held in April in Florida.
