STEPANAKERT. - President of the Artsakh Republic (Karabakh/Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Saturday received a group of lecturers and students of the Yerevan State University (YSU) led by its rector Aram Simonyan.

The meeting addressed a range of issues related to the cooperation between the main universities of the two Armenian states, the press-service of the Artsakh President’s Office informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

President Sahakyan pointed to the high-level cooperation with the YSU, underscoring the significance of this fact in terms of the development of higher education in Artsakh.

The President also attached importance to the public work carried out by the YSU and its activity aimed at the patriotic upbringing of the younger generation.
Artsakh Minister of Education, Science and Sports, Slava Asryan, and other officials also attended the meeting.
