YEREVAN. – Leader of Armenia's communist party Tachat Sargsyan is strongly opposing night clubs and “questionable entertainments".

During a press conference on Monday, Tachat Sargsyan said there was no prostitution in Soviet Armenia.

“There were several prostitutes and everyone knew them. The basis of the country is a family. Even in the hardest times Armenians did not go to Turkey and Iran. I'm ashamed," Tachat Sargsyan said.

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia intends to fight negative phenomena by means of propaganda and lawful measures.
