YEREVAN. – We are happy not only for the win, but we played well.

Armenian national football squad’s Brazilian midfielder Marcos Pizzelli, who plays his club football at Xanthi F.C. (Greece), told the aforesaid to reporters after Armenia’s 2-0 win Sunday at home against Kazakhstan, in their 2018 World Cup qualifier.

“We were playing well from the very first minute,” noted Pizzelli. “We were working in a simple way.”

Also, he said it was very important to him that his parents were able to attend this match.

“Their presence brought victory; if so, I want to bring them to every game, so that we play that well and win,” added the footballer. “I had long wanted to bring my parents here [i.e. Armenia]. I don’t want to repeat how important Armenia is for me. For me, everything was ideal today.”
