The opponents were pressing a lot, but we were ready for it, we were doing the coach’s instructions, and that is why everything worked out.

Armenia national squad forward Artur Sarkisov, who plays his club football at FK Yenisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia), told the abovementioned to reporters after Armenia’s 2-0 win Sunday at home against Kazakhstan, in their 2018 World Cup qualifier.

As for the scoring opportunities the national team had missed in the first half of the match, Sarkisov noted that such opportunities do not always lead to goals in football.

“The important [thing is] that we were attacking, creating opportunities, and the goals came in the second half,” he added.
