YEREVAN. – The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia on Thursday convened a meeting, and it approved the new makeup of the capital city Yerevan Council.

CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan announced that, as a result of respective election that was conducted in the city on May 14, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia will have 46, the opposition Yelk (Way Out) Bloc of Parties will have 14, and the opposition Yerkir Tsirani (Apricot Country) Party will have 5 seats in the Yerevan Council.
