YEREVAN. – A very important transmission line is built between Armenia and Georgia and will connect the energy systems of Armenia and Iran with the Georgian one, Georgian deputy energy minister Ilya Eloshvili told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The transmission line as a potential of connecting systems with Russia.

“One can imagine the potential of the transmission line if we can connect two such energy countries as Russia and Iran,” Eloshvili said.

The Georgian official said the transmission line is under construction and will be completed in August.
