Every fifth resident of Russia (21%) considers that the relations between Moscow and Washington are changed for the better, Interfax reported quoting an opinion poll conducted by the Levada Center.
In turn, 17% said the opposite, and another 54% have not seen any changes yet.
At the same time, the closest friends for the respondents are Belarus (46%), China (39%) and Kazakhstan (34%). Syria (15%), India (14%), Armenia (12%), Cuba (11%), Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan (9% each) are among the friendly countries.
According to Russians, their main enemies are the US (69%), Ukraine (50%), Germany (24%), Latvia and Lithuania (24% each), Poland (21%), Estonia (16%) , the UK (15%), Georgia (9%) and France (8%).
