YEREVAN. – The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Suren Karayan, and Janfida Agri Holding CEO Norayr Aghayan signed a memorandum on Monday. 

The objective of this document is to export and sell Armenia’s agricultural and other products in the Middle East, and to introduce and promote the “Armenian product” trademark, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, Karayan discussed with the aforesaid company’s representatives as to mechanisms whereby the ministry can assist in these exports. 

Also, an agreement was reached with respect to holding talks with the logistics and transportation companies that can transport products to the Gulf countries at minimum prices. 

In addition, they explored the possibilities of transporting these products on board cargo planes.

Aghayan, for his part, noted that there are good opportunities for selling high quality Armenian agricultural products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The interlocutors reflected also on the exported products’ packaging in accordance with the respective requirements of the Arab market.
