MOSCOW. – Three of the persons, who were injured when a passenger van en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Sunday crashed in Tula Oblast (province) of Russia, received medical treatment and were discharged from hospital.

Six other injured, who are still hospitalized, are in moderate condition, the embassy of Armenia in Moscow informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The remaining passengers of this van are either at their relatives’ homes, or they continued their journey by their own means.

All the injured are Armenians.

One person has died in the crash. He is a Russian citizen who is an ethnic Georgian.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, it was found out that the passenger van was heading for Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

According to information received at 8:50pm, Hrayr Gyurjyan, Svetlana Kaldaryan, and Tina Musoyan have been checked out of hospital.

Valeria Stepanyan (born in 1988), Norayr Galstyan (born in 1979), and Romik Nikoghosyan (born in 1958) are in moderate condition.
