President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (La République En Marche (La REM)) party is in the lead in Sunday’s second round of parliamentary elections in France, and it will get the most seats in the National Assembly.

According to exit poll results, La REM, together with its partner, the Democratic Movement (Mouvement démocrate ; MoDem) party, is expected to get 355 seats from the 425 seats in the lower house of French parliament, reported the BBC.
