Three Armenians were elected MPs as a result of Sunday’s second round of National Assembly elections in France.

Jacques Marilossian, who represents President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (La République En Marche (La REM)) party, achieved victory at Saint-Cloud, a commune in the suburbs of Paris.

Marilossian garnered 50.42 percent of the votes.

As reported earlier, Armenians Danièle Cazarian and Guillaume Kasbarian also were elected to the French National Assembly.
