YEREVAN. – Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army servicemen Avetis Zargaryan, who was wounded during the four-day war which Azerbaijan unleashed in April 2016, continues to receive rehabilitation treatment at a hospital in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

After a year of treatment in the hospital, Zargaryan was sent to Moscow, where he received additional treatment for three months, and then he returned to Yerevan.

His mother said they see a positive change in Avetis’s condition on a daily basis.

“He has begun to move his hands,” she said. “Now, the specialists are doing everything so that he can walk on his own.”

Avetis Zargaryan had come from Russia to carry out his military service.

After the incident, however, his family returned to Armenia.
