Armenia is 111th, from among 193 countries, in the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2017 report by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

In addition, Armenia is penultimate in this regard, in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.

The GCI is a survey that measures the commitment of Member States to cybersecurity in order to raise awareness.

It revolves around the ITU Global Cybersecurity Agenda (GCA) and its five pillars: Legal, technical, organizational, capacity building, and cooperation.
