YEREVAN. – Armenian citizens did not suffer life-threatening injuries during an attack in Egypt's Hurghada, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

According to preliminary reports of Armenia's embassy in Egypt, the criminal was neutralized with the help of injured Armenian citizens.

Two Armenian citizens were affected in the stabbing in Hurghada, Armenian Foreign Ministry said earlier.

According to preliminary reports, two tourists were killed and four other foreigners were wounded by an attacker with a knife at an Egyptian Red Sea holiday resort.

Egypt’s internal ministry said the attacker was arrested.
