An attacker in Hurghada stabbing was acting under instruction of ISIS, Bild reports quoting a source in Egypt’s special services.

The authorities in Cairo have not confirmed the reports yet, RIA Novosti says.

A man armed with a knife attacked foreign tourists in one of the hotels in Hurghada, Egypt. Two German nationals were killed and other four women, including two Armenian nationals, were wounded.

The attacker who was arrested by police was later identified as 28-year-old Abdul Rahman Shams Shaaban.

Some Egyptian media outlets said he was supporter of ISIS ideology and lived according to Sharia law. Others say the reason for the attack was an argument.
