YEREVAN. – Thirteen Armenia-based companies that produce wine, brandy, and other alcoholic beverages are for the first time taking part in the ProWine China 2017 trade fair that kicked off in Shanghai, China.

Armenia’s winemaking and brandy production are presented in a single pavilion, press service of the Development Foundation of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

These companies’ participation in this event has been co-funded by the Armenian government.

ProWine China is one of the largest international exhibitions in this domain. A total of 650 companies from 37 countries are taking part in ProWine China 2017, and more than 12,000 importers and professionals are expected to visit this trade fare.

At present, Armenian wines and brandies are exported to around 25 countries.
