YEREVAN. – The 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia have set a record between January and September of the current year.

They have paid 10.6 percent more taxes to the state budget than during the same period last year.

The absolute growth of taxes paid in one year was 55.8 billion drams (about US$114,336,990).

A total of 50.1 percent of that growth was secured by the top one hundred of the largest taxpayers in the country.

The second one hundred largest taxpayers’ respective “contribution” was 20.1 percent.

The difference between the top 100 companies and the other taxpayers in Armenia is quite apparent and it needs no comment.
