The US State Department allocated $12 million to increase pressure on the North Korea.

The document states that the United States government seeks to use all available means of pressure on the North Korea to achieve the curtailment of the development programs of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and related delivery systems, and to induce the North Korea to renounce nuclear weapons.

It is noted that the money will go to the development of legal programs that facilitate the adoption of sanctions and freezing of assets associated with the proliferation of WMD.
