YEREVAN. – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Yerevan.

From the airport, he went to the Armenian Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Lavrov arrived in Yerevan from Baku, where he met with the political leadership of Azerbaijan.

Sergey Lavrov will discuss the Karabakh conflict with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian and president Serzh Sargsyan.

“The agenda of the bilateral talks includes a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, foreign policy cooperation through the UNECE, CSTO and the CIS, coordination of positions within the UN, OSCE, the Council of Europe, BSEC, and other international forums. The foreign ministers will discuss issues of regional security, including the prospects for a Karabakh settlement,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
