YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian dismissed the statement of Baku that implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions is on the agenda of the talks.

At a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on November 21 in Yerevan, Nalbandian, responding to a question about whether the reports are true, recalled that the main goal of the adoption of the resolutions was the cessation of hostilities.

“Resolutions, and there are four of them, were adopted because Azerbaijan refused to fulfill the previous ones. Military actions were stopped due to the adopted trilateral agreements. As for the statements that the resolutions are on the agenda, as far as I remember, they have not been discussed at all for the past ten years,” Nalbandian said, adding that with regard to the elements of the settlement, they are presented in key documents and reflected in five well-known statements.
