The ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF) party informed that the country’s parliament has decided to impeach President Robert Mugabe, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

“Parliament resolved,” reads the ZANU–PF Twitter account. “Mugabe gone, he has about 24 hours left.”

When Robert Mugabe had refused to voluntarily resign from office, the ruling party had decided to commence his impeachment process in parliament.
