Clashes broke out between law enforcers and the supporters of  former Georgian presient Mikheil Saakashvili in Kiev, after the bus transporting Saakashvili was blocked on the street, 112 Ukraine reported.

The law enforcers used a tear gas which led to the stabilization of the situation.

Former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili has been detained on the roof of 8-storey building in Kiev, Ukrainian media reported.

Saakashvili, who is also former governor of Ukraine's Odessa region, climbed the roof on Tuesday morning and threatened to jump off after government prosecutors appeared at his home and tried to force entry and conduct a search of his apartment, his close associate David Sakravedlidze said.
