YEREVAN.- The frequent meetings of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers are conditioned by a certain reduction of tensions  on the line of contact, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told reporters after government session.

According to him, any negotiations are preferable, since military actions are an alternative to this.

Deputy Foreign Minister noted that Azerbaijan, as a rule, agrees at a negotiating table, then impedes implementation of the agreements.

"It does everything to preserve the status quo. If Baku really wants to change the status quo, then it must change the approaches.
