Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s position on Jerusalem status does not coincide with Moscow's position, said spokesperson for Russian President Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reported.

“We know Turkey’s position, which currently does not coincide with ours. Russia's position on Jerusalem and Middle East is well known,” Peskov said.

Asked whether Russia considers Erdogan's position useful for settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Peskov said that he had nothing to add to what he had already said.
