YEREVAN. – The “hand” that reaches out to the state budget should be cut.

Vahram Baghdasaryan, head of the National Assembly faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

President and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan recently stated that numerous community leaders in Armenia abuse their respective position and show a dishonest approach toward community budgets, and admitted to being very forgiving towards community leaders.

When asked why Sargsyan had been forgiving, Baghdasaryan responded that the President had spoken about shortcomings, not abuses. He added, however, that forgiveness is a good thing if the matter has not turned into a crime yet.
