The discussion of North Korean nuclear program and its weapons arsenal will have a negative impact on inter-Korean ties, said the head of North Korean delegation, Ri Son Gwon, Reuters reported.

“North Korea’s weapons are only aimed at the United States, not our brethren, China or Russia,” said Ri Son Gwon, adding that Pyongyang's nuclear program is not an issue between Pyongyang and Seoul.

The first inter-Korean talks in more than two years took place at the ministerial level on the border.
