President of the United States Donald Trump confirmed the cancellation of his visit to Britain, explaining this decision by disagreeing with the actions of previous administration.
It was expected that Trump would visit Britain in late February to attend the opening ceremony of the new embassy in London. The media repeatedly reported on the possible cancellation of the trip.
Reason I canceled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for “peanuts,” only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars. Bad deal. Wanted me to cut ribbon-NO!

Queen Elizabeth the Second’s invitation to visit Great Britain was handed over to Trump by the British Prime Minister Teresa May during her trip to Washington in early 2017. Around two million British people signed a petition demanding the repeal of the U.S. President's state visit. Their indignation was caused by immigration bans imposed by Trump.
