The EU takes note of today's statement of President of the United States Donald Trump concerning the Iran nuclear deal, European External Relations Service said in a statement.

At the same time, they plan to continue complying with the obligations of the nuclear deal.

“As a first step, we will coordinate with the E3 and the other EU Member States to jointly assess the statement and its implications.

We remain committed to the continued full and effective implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the U.S. President Donald Trump said that the last time he extended the regime for lifting sanctions under the nuclear agreement with Tehran, and demanded that the European Union takes part in amending of the agreement, noting that now they have the last chance to make changes. In addition, Trump called Iran the main sponsor of terrorism and announced its intention to legislatively fix tough sanctions for the development and testing of ballistic missiles.
