Anadolu (Anatolia) news agency of Turkey reported that Ankara has sent a convoy of military equipment—including tanks—to the Hatay Province, at the border with Syria, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

A source at the Turkish armed forces told Anadolu that the tanks were sent to reinforce the border troops.

And the Anadolu reporters have shot a video of the convoy of trucks loaded with five tanks.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday stated that the Turkish army may start operations in Syria’s Manbij and Afrin districts, which are controlled by the Kurdish self-defense People’s Defense Unit (YPG).
