Armenian St. Astvatsatsin church, located in the historic district of Karaman, Turkey, attracts the attention of local and foreign tourists, Haberler reported.

St. Astvatsatsin Church has been handed over to the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in 2007, after which it has been renovated and now is functioning as a museum.

The frescoes of the church attract the attention of local and foreign tourists the most.

Karaman's Tourism and Culture Department chief Abdullah Kilic said that Armenians, Greeks and Turks lived together in Karaman for a long time. According to him, the church is also called Aghbyur church, because of the spring in the yard of the church.
