Many different working groups are working on the development of the EU strategy, and Bulgaria has also made a significant contribution to this,  EU Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Switalski  said on Wednesday, during the briefing organized by Embassy of Bulgaria in Yerevan.

He wished Bulgaria successes during its presidency in the EU and noted that the achievement of consensus is an extremely important element during any chairmanship.

Switalski  noted that when Bulgaria was included into the EU, some people worried that there can be prerequisites for the conflicts as it is known that when Bulgarians nod, it means "no".  But now, the European familygot used to these national peculiarities and traditions, EU Ambassador joked.

Speaking about Armenia, the head of the EU delegation added, the state showed great persistence and contributed to the implementation of the Eastern Partnership, strengthening ties with neighbors. Now Brussels and Yerevan have an opportunity to make the most effective implementation of the agreements reached earlier.

At the same time, as Piotr Switalski  noted, the Armenian leadership worked hard and worked to implement the mechanisms envisaged by the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
