The government of Buryatia, Russian republic in eastern Siberia, said that the school of Ulan-Ude was attacked by three people, RIA Novosti reports.

The attack happened in the morning in the village of Sosnovy Bor. According to the authorities, three young men in masks broke into to school. They threw an explosive cocktail into the classroom of Russian language and literature, where the seventh graders were having a lesson. A fire started. When the students and the teacher ran out of the classroom, the attackers were striking them with an ax at the exit.

According to preliminary information, four were injured and hospitalized, among them there were three seventh-graders. During the arrest, one of the attackers injured himself and was taken to the hospital under escort. The search for the other two intruders continues.

This is already the second attempt of attack on a school in Russia. On Monday 15 people, including a teacher and pupils of junior classes, were injured at the Perm school as a result of the stabbing. According to the investigation, the former and present students of this school, entered the educational institution and intentionally stabbed the pupils and the teacher. The suspects were detained.
