YEREVAN. – The compressed gas cylinder of a public transport passenger van, which was driven by G. D. (born in 1988), exploded Friday at a compressed gas station in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

A station employee suffered injuries.

Suren Makaryan, head of the intensive care unit at ARMENIA Republican Medical Center where this man is being treated, on Saturday told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he is in very critical condition.

He noted that Erik K., 32, is hooked up to an artificial respiration apparatus and has many fractures.
