YEREVAN. – Within the framework of the 48th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan of Armenia met with president Takehiko Nakao of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).  

They discussed several ADB-assisted programs being implemented in Armenia, Press Office of the Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the PM briefed the ADB director on the positive results that were recorded in Armenia’s economy last year, and assured that the Armenian government is determined in carrying out reforms.

The ADB head, in turn, noted that the successful course of their ongoing activities in Armenia enables to speak about implementing programs with a greater scope in the country.

In addition, Karapetyan invited Nakao for a visit to Armenia, and they reached an agreement that this visit will be conducted in the first half of the current year.
