YEREVAN. – Trade between Switzerland and Armenia did not exceed $24,500,000 in the past, whereas it has totaled $ 209 million within the ten months of 2017.

Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, stated the above-said at the NA, at his joint news conference with president Dominique de Buman of the National Council of Switzerland.

As a result, according to the Armenian parliament speaker, Armenia has succeeded in achieving a positive balance with Switzerland, since now the import and export levels are virtually equal.

“Of course, we can go further in the level of development of relations between the two parliaments,” Babloyan added. “But we cannot disregard our relations in the domains of culture and economy.”
