Bangladeshi former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has been found guilty of corruption and sentenced to five years in jail, AP reported.

The judge in Dhaka announced the verdict on Thursday. Former Prime Minister’s son, Tarique Rahman, and four others were jailed for 10 years.

The graft case was filed in July 2008 which said Khaleda and five others including her son Tarique Rahman had embezzled over 20 million taka ($253,164), destined for support to orphanages.
