YEREVAN.-This is another illiterate, stupid, senseless and ridiculous statement made by the President of Azerbaijan, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am, in response to the statement of the Azerbaijani President who said that "Yerevan is our historical land, and we, Azerbaijanis, should return to these lands. "

Eduard Sharmazanov commented on Aliyev's statement with the Latin proverb "Empty pots make the most noise" (Empty pots make the most noise).

"In the 21st century it is unacceptable when a president of a country expresses territorial claims in relation to the neighboring country. Such verbal attacks of Ilham Aliyev remind Adolf Hitler. In the person of Aliyev we are dealing with Hitler of the 21st century. At least it is ridiculous, when the president of the country, which has not even 100 years old, speaks about historical lands,"  Sharmazanov said, advising Aliyev to return to his historical homeland in Central Asia.

As for Aliyev's pre-election desire to conquer Yerevan, Sharmazanov reminded that Ilham Aliyev is not the only dreamer in this regard. One of his predecessors Abulfaz Elchibey also fed citizens of the country with vain hopes, saying every time that he intended to have tea in Stepanakert and the results are obvious.

Sharmazanov urged not only the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, but also the entire international community to pay attention to Aliyev's statement and draw the appropriate conclusions.
