YEREVAN. – An Armenian woman who died in a Russian plane crash in Moscow region was registered in Zolaqar village of Gegharkunik province, Armenia.

Varsenik Sevoyan and her husband moved to Russia long ago, the head of village administration Arman Ghazaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Varsenik is one of the two ethnic Armenians who was on board of AN 148 passenger plane that near the village of Stepanovskoye on Sunday several minutes after leaving Moscow's Domodedovo airport.  Sergey Ghambaryan was the second pilot of the plane.

“Varsik got married to Hunan Martonyan, a resident of our village, and was registered here. The couple have lived in the Russian city of Orsk since 1997. They have to children. Their daughter is married,” Ghazaryan said.

According to official data, there were 65 passengers and six crew members on board.
