YEREVAN.- Armenia will discuss the transit of Iranian gas to Georgia through Armenia after reaching substantive agreements between the parties, Armenian deputy energy minister Hayk Harutyunyan told reporters on Tuesday.

He noted, that the sides have not yet discussed the prospects of gas supplies from Iran to Georgia.

"They will discuss volumes of supplies and prices, and only then we will be able to discuss with them issues of transit. However, at the moment they have not reached substantive agreements, "the deputy minister said.

He added that Armenia will benefit from this deal, receiving payment for transit.
