YEREVAN. – Iran stands ready to increase its natural gas supplies to Armenia.

Reza Ardakanian, Minister of Energy of Iran, on Tuesday told the above-said to reporters, and within the framework of the 15th meeting of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission, in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

The minister, however, did not respond to the query on at what price Iran offers gas to Armenia?

“At this time the parties are negotiating on the matter of exchange of electricity,” Ardakanian said. “The results of the negotiations will be presented to the public in the near future.”
