The US Navy will reportedly develop new unmanned surface vessel, director of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Steven Walker told reporters on Thursday, TASS reported.

According to him, DARPA recently handed its vessel prototype called Sea Hunter to the U.S. Navy.

The ship was equipped with software devices and sensors to ensure all navigation rules in offline modes, said Walker adding that  the vessel could help them to have more ships at sea, ensuring the interaction of uninhabited and crew ships and their presence in the world’s oceans for considerably less money.
