VAGHARSHAPAT. – Demonstrations demanding Mayor Karen Grigoryan’s resignation are held in Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Armenia, ever since early Saturday morning.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from the scene that the demonstrators have blocked the main streets of the town and are staging protests. 

To note, Grigoryan’s supporters are expected to start a counter demonstration at 5pm.
