Head of the Tourism Committee of Kazakh Culture Ministry Mainura Murzamadiyeva was elected head of the Tourism Council of CIS members states, TASS reported.

According to her, the council serves as a good platform for the dialogue of the CIS countries on the development of tourism.

From 2016 to 2018, the Tourism Board was headed by Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Alla Manilova.
