YEREVAN. – Secretary General of the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF)  Michaëlle Jean shared her impression about the visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

“I visited Tsitsernakaber. I want to welcome the nation that does not want to die and wins,” she told reporters during a briefing on Tuesday.

OIF Secretary General also visited TUMO center and talked to the youth.

“I saw that young people are proud to take on the responsibility of being a generation of velvet revolution,” she added.

According to her, “Live Together” - the motto of the Francophonie summit that was chosen by Armenia is one of the most important themes for prosperity and peace.

“All the leaders who come to Yerevan will discuss the issues important for the world. Armenia will assume chairmanship in an organization that unites a significant part of the world,” Michaëlle Jean concluded.
