YEREVAN. – Armenia attaches importance to purchasing multifunctional aviation, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan told reporters.

Asked about the purchase of weapons and a new Russian loan, the Minister said the second issue is under discussion, but declined to reveal details.

“Cooperation with Russia is developing quietly successfully. At the moment the matter is 100 million,” he said, adding that the loan is not intended for the purchase of aircrafts.

“We are attaching importance to acquiring multifunctional aviation. This is a priority. The talks are underway”.
